Boeing Starliner's Upcoming Test Launch: All You Need to Know

Scheduled Launch and Live Coverage

The highly anticipated Boeing Starliner Crew Flight Test (CFT) is scheduled to launch on Saturday, June 1, at 12:25 PM EDT (16:25 GMT). The launch will be carried live on NASA's official YouTube channel, the NASA TV app, and NASA's website.

Astronaut Crew and Mission Details

Two NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, will serve as the crew for this test mission. The primary objective of CFT is to conduct a full dress rehearsal of all systems involved in a future human spaceflight mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

The Starliner spacecraft will be launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. After docking with the ISS, the crew will spend approximately six months conducting experiments and supporting other research activities.

Live Stream and Other Viewing Options

In addition to NASA's official livestream, you can also watch the launch on Boeing's YouTube channel. The company will provide its own commentary and perspectives on the mission. If you are unable to watch the launch live, recordings will be available on both NASA and Boeing's websites after the launch.
